Black Ops Combat Training

Another new enhancement that comes with Black Ops is Combat Training. What started off as a development tool to test things evolved into something much, much more. It started off as a single player that would just sit there and give feedback on gun damage and what not and evolved into a full AI experience to test out the multiplayer against the computer.

In Combat Training on Black Ops you set off against an artificial team with your own artificial teammates or friends you bring in to Combat Training. It is completely separate from multiplayer but acts just like Multiplayer to help give you a leg up when jumping into the fire.

Want to test out a new loadout or new strategy, combat training is the perfect spot to see how you like the feel for the loadout you created. Fully test the gun against the AI in combat training before tanking your K/D ration in a live match.

Black Ops Combat Training is perfect for newer players as well to get used to how multiplayer works and familiarize themselves with the maps or for older players to go over a strategy on certain maps.

This is a great feature set that comes loaded with Black Ops making the user experience even that much better!

i thought this was a greattt idea that they added this. Im probably gonna play this for a little when i first get the game before anything else just to transition from MW2

I can hear them crying over a lot of the features that are being added that have never been in a Call of Duty before. xD This game sounds better and better with each release to me.

This is a really cool feature! I'm probably going to use it before I play the multiplayer, just to get a feel for it ^^

I never thought Black Ops could sound better then MW2 but when they keep telling us about the New Features in Black Ops, I just swallow my words.

this is a much better way to get used to maps than just running around aimlessly. does the training mode just act like team death match or can you choose the game mode? cause i saw the a.i. and i just kinda hope they dont just crouch the whole time, haha. it would be a good thing to recreate sneaking like i do but then again there are people who just run until they get shot, there are people who do a kinda breach and clear either longer then a s&d round slow, or quick enough to out shine a swat team. the sprinters that go prone in front of you faster than it seems they should but its like last stand anyway so there not hard to kill.... oh well either way im sure it'll be fun.

Like they said, it'll be great for newcomers and so forth, but it will mostly help out on Gamebattles and stuff like that... the ability for a team to face(even tho it is CPU) opponents would be vital to plan out strategic routes and executions.
