Is it still playable?

I never played cod4 and I saw some montage and stuff and it looks nice. but there's so many people whining about cheaters, so yeah is it still playable or the game has been taken over by hackers?

On Xbox 360 it's fine, sure you'll run into a hacker every now and again, but for me it's pretty rare, I'm sure you'll get the same luck.

I don't know about PC though, I think it will be ten times better on PC as there is custom servers and such.

yea i think PC is fine. actually played a few games on a few servers and it was fine for me so yea. world at war is basically taken over by hackers so yea.

i have it on the 360. last time i played it i had alot of fun. there will be some cheaters/hackers, but its generally pretty chill. you dont normally see much more than people on places that are impossible to get to (like rooftops). but again, its fun and there aren't as many cheaters/hackers that alot of people say there are. in my opinion, its one of the best cods ever and is tied for second with mw2 in my opinion.

I got my mate to buy me a copy the other day, ive played about 2-3 hours in the last week and ive not seen anyone I would consider a cheater or hacker so far.

XBOX and PS3 are still relatively okay. (Just don't play a whole lot of S&D)

But the PC? Umm, not sure at all. Isn't it easier to cheat there?

COD 4 on PS3 is still awesome and will always be. I've just seen one aimbot so far. Nothing else.
