Named after the Famous Sniper from Enemy At The Gates this class is certin to ruin someones day.
Now Yes it doesnt differ from the basic sniper class everyone else posts on here but My explination is the reason your reading this I know
The 50 Cal Sniper Rifle is a common tool for what true snipers call Newbs...
I know everyone loves the Intervention and there is nothign wrong with that.
I personally use the 50 Caliber Sniper Rifle because when in a sticky situation I want the ability to spray bullets and hope to get that lucky kill.
And the fire rate on this rifle can do just that.
It takes some time for people to get used to the Kick that this rifle uses but it is well worth it.
The whopping 70 Damage this rifle dishes out is beastly and that is 70 damage if you hit them in the leg.....
Anything waist and up is a one hit kill with up to a 1.5x hit modifier.
FMJ is my attachment of choice because as a sniper we all know there are many times you see the stock of an enemies gun , but cant seem to get the head shot....
This way you can put bullets on target thru concrete.
Again as stated in past posts you need to know FMJ does not add damage to the actual shots of Weapons..
The stats in the class description lie.....
FMJ is soley for penitration shots and ADD NO EXTRA DAMAGE TO ANY REGULAR SHOT.
We use the PP2000 as the side arm because the iron sights are easy to use and it can put down any enemy that thinks he is gonna sneak up on you as your scoping out the area.
Perks are self explanitory ....Slight of Hand Pro to reload you weapons.. Stopping Power to add that extra kick to shots and Steady aim for thoes snipers that actually snipe and not quick scope like me...
I wanna explain really quick why we use the claymore.
And it is as simple as this....
knowing where the enemy is...
Leave a claymore near you to secure your position or randomly so when it is triggered you know just where to look to pick up the pieces....
Its that simple....
Lock Load and Enjoy
