Ideas ?

Come on people, i want to hear your ideas on possible CoD storylines for the next game, assuming its not MW3.

I have 2 big ideas.

1:- Vietnam, a full scale Vietnam war game where you get to play as both the USMC/Army, and Green Berets, perhaps even flying hueys, the game should try to play through all the major battles in the war and have jungle missions which include rescue operations, patrols, avoiding punji and all that stuff, Napalm of course as well.

2:- Maybe keep the Modern theme but call it Call of Duty desert warfare, which would include NATO missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia and China, the game should focus on both US and UK invasion forces as well as missions for the SAS/SBS or DELTA/SEALS. the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan from the start, and special operations in places like Somalia, Iran and China along with other sub-plots.

Both of those ideas would require a long campaign similar to that of the original Operation Flashpoint, what do you guys think, any ideas, dont be afraid to give your own ideas out, and i am open to constructive criticism to my idea.

I'd rather see more made up wars personally, all the current ones are being over used. Or stories similar to black ops, with being during an era and not totally true

Yeah but we have never seen a game which follows the full invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, and when it comes to made up wars we had that with CoD 4 and MW2.

And yes it would be boring if we followed the truth all the time which is why i said China and Iran and Saudi Arabia should be involved, perhaps Palestine and Israel.

But your idea is understandable, now give me a storyline.

Now that's the one thing i wouldn't like to see in CoD, it would destroy the franchise, it would be the beggining of the end of CoD, like wen the Japanese Empire attacked pearl harbor, and then when the Nazis invaded Russia, it would be the biggest mistake CoD could ever make.

If it did go into the future, i think 10-20 years should be the limit.

And a good story would be oil shortage.

That was the one i prefer to, i would particularly like to have a mission in Russia though, Moscow's Red square or the Kremlin.

CoD: Civil Warfare.

The only game type is Team Deathmatch, and the only useful perk is Sleight of Hand, since it took like 10 minutes to reload.

I gotta agree with Mth on this one. Futureistic Warfare would be sick. Not too the point of Halo where you have 7 foot people and sheilds and crap, but advanced guns and such would be cool

If they made a futuristic one it could be no more than 20 years into the future because if they start making up new weapons and stuff people will not play cod and start moving over to BF or MoH.

I can cope with 20, even 50 years into the future because the weapons would be the same and we would have wars over oil, world wa3 3 proper, now that would be good, call it, WaW 2.
