Just tried this game on xbox

I just bought a copy of this for xbox. I figured I could level up a 0 prestige so that I could get to play with people regardless of console...

I'm still adjusting to the controller (I really wish the ps3 controller worked on the xbox, lol) but I noticed something else....

People playing on xbox live are REALLY bloody cheap.
Like more than I've ever seen.
Camping is 3 times worse than on ps3... and lots of type 95s and mk14 silenced, while camping.

Is this just a one off odd night?
Or do you find that the type of player differs from console to console?

The way I see it, regardless of console, people play exactly the same. It's just unlucky that you're coming up against more people with the Type 95 and the Mk14. I've been finding every single tom, dick and harry with a Smaw today.

You get days like that.

You'll get used to the Xbox controller. It might hurt your thumb for a bit, but the tears of noobs pushes me on.

lmao.... I do find it easier to QS on xbox... I am a capable sniper on ps3, but i never tried to quickscope... the joysticks on the xbox controller make it a lot easier to do that. It's the only thing I've felt comfortable using so far (L118A)

Normally we don't allow threads that compare consoles as they always result in flaming or combative, nonconstructive dialogue. However, I will allow it as long as it stays cool.

Guys I've played on both. I've even played on PC (I actually prefer PC but console is where all the competition is)

It's the exact same. When you switch from one to the other you always want to say stuff like "people on this console are ______ !" This is honestly because you haven't adapted to something yourself. It's not the other players. There aren't more "sophisticated" players on PS3...or "hardcore" players on Xbox. That's all just a bunch of crap you read on forums. I do believe there are more mature players on PC but that's just because a gaming rig can cost around $3,000 and most younger players don't drop that kind of coin or can't convince their parents too.

When moving from 1 console to another you are going to struggle. It's different. I personally think the PS3 controller feels small and dainty. I guess the PS3 guys think the Xbox controller is huge and cumbersome. It's what you are used to and it is going to take time to adapt.

You can't make blanket statements like. "PS3 players are more ____." or "Xbox players just ______ more." It just isn't true.

The only statistical fact that we have to go on is Xbox has more players than PS3 does. They have a larger pool of people. Does this mean they will have a larger talent pool? Yup. Does this mean they will also have a larger noob/douchebag pool? Yup.
