New Ranking Up Idea

My last post I am sorry about, I didnt read the rules before I posted, my bad But its true I do have a MOAB gameplay and I do have a new channel, so for now I think a discussion is in need of. I thought of an idea and would like to know from you guys if its a good idea. here it is: I think instead of prestiging you should just rank up to a level of like 1,000 at the maximum. But like every time you level up you earn money to go and buy yourself certain guns and certain perks etc. I really dont see the point in prestiging nowadays and I think this would freshen the game up a bit. Do you like this idea? do you have one of your own? please comment as I think it would be interesting to hear what other people think of it.

Not sure your idea would freshen the game. At the mo we have 15 prestiges (20 on the PC I think) so as an example, we level upto 1,200 to get to 15th prestige lvl 80.

IW give people the chance to get all of the guns, pro perks and such without having to reach the maximum level, they can do it after 80 levels. That in my opinion makes it fair on the 'not so hardcore' players that don't want to reach 15th prestige.

If we had to reach lvl 1,000 before getting 'everything' then it would feel more like a chore or a job to get there before you reap the benefits. That to me doesn't sound fair.

I think it's fine as it is. It's not broke so there's no need to fix it.

As for prestiging, I suppose it's personal preference. I myself love getting to 80 and then prestiging as soon as I can, even if I'm close to an achievement, it doesn't stop me.

Its MrPain007ps3 but when you type it in you may not find it, type in pain007productions and you will find the link of the new channel in featured channels section, but i do have some gameplay on this channel as well. Yeh I mean its only a thought and I totally understand why someone would prestige, on the earlier games i wanted to prestige so much, nowadays i cant be bothered as there are no real perks to it, i think they have done that because I suppose there would be too much of an advantage of a high level quality player against a noob. I dunno just an idea really and thanks for your comment dude, I appreciate it.

That's what I think they should do. I've told a lot of my friends "it should just go to a much higher level than this prestige nonsense". Not sure about 1,200 levels, the first 200 would only take like 100 experience.

Halo does it right. A certain number of levels and getting to the last rank takes a ridiculous amount of time.

Just watched it on Village. Cool MOAB. One thing I find funny and it happens almost every single time and that is, when people call in a MOAB, they die soon after.

Yeh I know what you mean actually, I was panicking near the end and it was just a relief when I got it LOL I suppose when you get it you let ur guard down a bit, thanks for watching it dude.

Prestige is to show Prestige (clever, eh?) of those who wanted to go to a higher level and to earn more by showing you can restart from scratch anytime after sacrificing what you just spent hours on earning. I thinks it's fine. Don't need to fix what isn't broken. It's worked for 8? games, doesn't need to change now.
