camping is annoying but its part of the game. My feeling is that if they are hardcore corner camping, and truely not moving, then you should know where they are and be able to get them. When it comes to SnD, its almost necessary. People will moan about you camping the bomb, but what are you supposed to do, ignore the objective?

I dislike campers but I mean there's nothing inherently wrong with it. It's just completely different from the playstyle I prefer. My hubbs has no problem with camping, his reasoning:

"It would be foolish to run away from cover to try to find the people that are wanting to shoot your ass off first." lol

I just get so bored waiting.

Now another thing people fail to comprehend. Snipers are meant to camp, not necessarily inside the corner of a room or behind a door, but they're meant to be still, away from the action and pick off their targets from afar.

The amount of times I've been called a camper if I'm sniping from one end of the map to the other. I wear a ghillie suit for a reason, to blend in with my surroundings. Not gonna blend in if I'm running around because I'm afraid I'll get labeled with the camper tag if I stand still too often..

Meh, people will call you a camper, a noob or whatever no matter what you do.

I agree snipers have legit grounds to be lurking at the back of the map and the only reason people complain they're camping is because they're better than them. Simple.

I run and gun and its not always the best strategy but it works for me all the same. People hate me equally as much if I run n gun with a sniper rifle. Haha. FUN.

Camping in a corner with no legitimate reason is ridiculous. There best argument is that "it's safe" or "that's how you have to get kills". I think I've camped once, and that was to prove a point.

You don't have to camp to do well. Someone who rushes will not be killed easily if you know what you are doing. I'm 100% rusher and I do better than all of the people who camp unless they abuse killstreaks they don't deserve.

Don't misinterpret though. Capture The Flag is different, Demolition is different, I know, but there is no reason to camp in TDM. And yes, I know stopping to heal is acceptable or if you know they are flooding in from somewhere rushing in would be stupid(even though I would do it ;D).

There is a HUGE difference between someone that holds down an area (the hotel in seatown for example) and someone who is parked in a corner (THE WHOLE GAME) somewhere outside of the battle waiting for someone to walk by.

The difference is the positional player will get his killstreaks and get kills...
The camper will finish the game 6-2 or 7-1
