M16 Help.

Next prestige, I'd like to go gold on the M16, or atleast give it a go. What are some good perk/attachment combos?

it reloads pretty quick so SoH isnt needed much, id suggest maybe scavenger or extreme conditioning. thats all you need pretty much. for attatchments id say silencer untill you get rapidfire & ex.Mags. hope this helps dude

IMO, the faster the better, and it's already an under powered gun so silencer just makes it worse.

You'll have to experiment with what you're most comfortable with depending on your play style and preferences, although here are a few tips which I think should help you.

Rapid Fire is an absolute necessity on this gun because otherwise you'll be outmatched by everything. I also suggest using Attachments (it doesn't really need any other proficiencies) with a red dot.

As far as perks go, the one that will be most useful will be Marksman to spot targets. Using Quickdraw can give you a slight advantage in close-medium range.

Finally, for killstreaks, I highly recommend the Specialist strike package. This gun will be harder to play with because if it outmatched by most of the other guns, so I think that the Specialist Strike package could give you the upper hand in most situations. The perks to choose would be up to you although Assassin (if you're okay with it, I know a lot of people don't like it) would be helpful, along with Steady Aim pro to help you in close quarters.

I haven't used it but once on pickup four or so months ago.
I know it's known as the worst of AR's, but is it just a hard to use gun? Or a "shit gun"?

@DEATH_MACHINE it's very hard because the accuracy is horrible, the 3 round burst is completely scattered and you need all 3 for a 1 fire/kill from my experience, it should be equal to the type-95 but it isn't, I suggest hardcore to level it up, maybe hardcore dom

Red dot sight + Focus proficiency.

Perks: Blind Eye. Assasin. Stalker.

It is better to use the Focus proficiency because the M16 gets knocked back too far when an enemy shoots at you.
