Why a golden Dragunov?!

Tonight I managed to earn the Golden Dragunov! now you might be thinking "are you retarded?" "this kid's k/d probably blows now." or maybe you're thinking "i wanna try this!"
I'm assuming there aren't a lot of people out there with this camo on this particular gun so here is a picture!



Now if you're curious as to what possessed me to get this gun gold well it's a combination of 2 things. 1. 1k headshot title. i got this title for the mk14 and I'm looking to score another. This gun (when used well) is particularly easy to get headshots with. 2. The gun is absolutely ridiculous! Who in the right mind would get 1k headshots with that gun let alone get it gold?!
Me that's who!

So the question i ask you issss...
"have you earned the golden camo for any guns one might consider ridiculous or stupid?" if you have honestly I'd love to see pictures because there are a lot of golden guns i have yet to see!

Getting golden with the Dragunov is indeed epic O_O

But, I hate getting golden with the M16, I just hate it at close range for some reason.

I've only got 3 Golden guns, all of which are comon.

Barrett, MSR, and the PP90M1.

I've had the MP5, UMP, Model 1887, and ACR all in gold at some point. I've been working on sniper rifles a lot recently, notably the Barrett and Dragunov. Probably won't get the Dragunov gold though, close to prestiging again. Might use my token on it.

Well I have the L11 and Type 95 P90 and RSASS lvl 30. But I do have the Pm-9 coming very shortly

Nice job on getting the gold Dragunov!, At one point I was considering staying at level 80 and collecting all gold guns, but I gave in to prestiging and will probably end up going to 20th Prestige, only 6th Prestige now.

Anyway, in my 6 Prestiges of MW3 I find that each one I tend to stick to one gun. ALL of which I got gold...

1st Prestige - PP90M1 and G36C
2nd Prestige - FAD and UMP45
3rd Prestige - AS50
4th Prestige - P90
5th Prestige - Striker and P90
6th Prestige - MP7

From using these guns constantly throughout the prestige I got each gold. I like that each prestige I find a new love for a gun. Some prestiges I got 2, some I got alot of guns past level 25, but all throughout I mainly just use these few guns.

Anyway, to answer your question. I haven't really gotten a 'stupid' gold gun, I think the closest to that is the AS50, with it being a Sniper rifle, and not a very popular one, it's really the only choice.

I think i've gotten the mk14 golden about 4 times. the pp90m1 2 times. I wish i would have taken a picture but at my zero prestige i got a golden spas which was absolutely dumb of me haha

I honestly forget all the gold guns I had, but currently I have the m16, scar-l,acr,m14, mp5,pp90, p90, and striker, with the m4,mp7,ks, and barrett 50 cal all close at level 30

id like to see the mp5 and ks! ive seen lots of guys using the ks recently but no golden @Mr88bright88
