Level 80 a bit too much?

I'm on level 79 in 1st prestige hoping to prestige again before I travel for the Holidays on Wed. 80 seems like a lot but maybe it's just because I don't have enough time to play through 10 prestiges in a year. And I like sticking with 3 or 4 favorite guns so it takes me a little longer I think. I should probably just stick at level 80 this time but I am afraid I will get bored.

[MENTION=24145]SixFourClownin[/MENTION] no, they are a grind but I remember 60-70 on MW2 taking forever. I didn't play Black Ops much so I didn't prestige. I'm at Prestige 1 level 80 now 1/3 of the way to Prestige 2. Hopefully I will get there tonight before I leave on vacation.

I think its easier to level up on here then it was in Black ops, just because there are alot of levels doesnt mean they are all in respect to all the other cods.

If you spread your weapon usage around enough it will seem like leveling up doesn't take long at all really. Just last night I was getting quite a few 20k+ XP games just from changing my weapons often. I like to look at my challenges and see where Im at with the 5k and 10k ones and switch my weapons accordingly when im closer with certain ones.

Try to get to 500 kills with each weapon...it doesn't have to be all of them and you will notice what Im talking about.
