It's MOAB, not MOBE

Just a little pet peeve of mine, but it's getting beyond stupid with people pronouncing it incorrectly on youtube. If you even know anything about the english language and phonetics it's obviously not pronounced mobe. Where does the hard O come from? There's no "e" on the end of the word, therefore it's not a hard O. And where does the "a" go when you pronounce it mobe?

People are just making themselves sound stupid...

Just because I think a word sounds funny, or I don't like it, doesn't give me license to intentionally say it wrong. People would think I was insane if I walked around pronouncing the "k" sound in "know."

To me, people that say MOAB wrong sound equally ignorant. I honestly don't see how you even derive the mow-b sound from that word, it makes no sense what-so-ever phonetically...

Up to them how they want to say it, and in the end it's just my opinion how they sound, other people don't mind. I'm just trying to spread the knowledge.

There's a historical precedent for "Moab" though. It's a Biblical word. (not kidding, Google it. I'm the only person I know that knew this BEFORE MW3 came out though lol... then again, I'm one of about 20 people that I know that cared about MOAB before MW3, so whatever. I'm a weaponry hipster, I guess lol)
