L96A1 Quick-scoping?

I need help or tips on how to quick-scope with the L96A1. I can do long-shots and sometimes I get lucky and get a close range kill with a sniper. My sensitivity is at 7 so I can quick-scope and keep an eye on my back, in case anyone is going to knife me or shoot me from behind. This is my Sniping/Quick-scoping class(in case your curious):

L96A1 Extended Mags, Red(Blood) camo
CZ75 Suppressor
Equipment: Claymore
Tactical: Decoy
Tool: Tomahawk/Frag(I change it sometimes)
Perk 1: Ghost
Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
Perk 3: Hacker

sometimes quick scoping isn't the best option and a no scope would be more helpful, so instead of sleight of hand put on steady aim and you already have extended mags. i can noscope people that are probably 5-30 feet away. if anybody is more than you can no scope and you want to quick scope them make sure they are in the center of your screen, then quickly scope in and fire. sometimes it helps to put a little piece of tape on your screen were you will shoot when you aim in untill you get used to looking right there when you fire. and remember to aim for the chest. you are far more likely to hit them in the chest than the head and the chest is a 1 hit kill with the l96a1 anyway. it also might help to put on an acog scope but im assuming you are trying to do this with the standard sniper scope.

Quick Scoping for long or short range?
Short range is best with ACOG.

Just out of curiousity, SoH Pro doesn't even work with snipers anyway so why use it?

I can quick scope pretty well on this game so i will give you a few hints.

If your sensativity it on 7 i would put it too 9. I find with 7 it takes a while to drag scope and is a litter slower than it was on MW2, 9 is just about right for me. But thats more personal choice.

In fact 90% of the time its better to dag scope anyway. Since you come into scope off target you will almost always need to drag a little bit to get on target. Also to make sure dont fire until your scoped in for at least a 10th of a second or something just to make sure you dont need to drag scope. If your close to the person and using steady aim you dont need to drag scope as often to counter the off center crosshairs.

I would do that and go practise in combat training until you can do it consitantly. Perks i find good are Ghost, Steady aim and Marathon. Dont listen to the people who give you shit for it, their just pisses if they get killed by you when their using their try hard FAMAS/74u class.

I tend to use the variable scope with extended mag, so that means warlord as perk #2.

I also have the CZ75 with full auto upgrade, much better with higher damage (due to no suppressor) , especially if you are sniping from a "closed" area like the ledge in Jungle or either room in Berlin Wall. It gives you a chance of out gunning someone in close quarter combat due to the high fire rate.

I also use either Ninja on perk #3. Useful for domination and taking objectives back without alerting the enemy. Again for domination, I take Nova gas, does damage and disorientates the enemy, giving your team mates on the ground chance for the kill.

So yeah, change your whole loadout! I enjoy sniping and find this works the best, especially for K/D Ratio. I not a fan of moving around much when sniping, but given the chance will ditch my second for a stolen gun and go running for a minute or two...


I still prefer my M60 though!
