Just put it into perspective, man. It's a videogame designed for your entertainment. If you are genuinely not having fun, it may be time to consider doing something where you are enjoying yourself. Try not to take the game too seriously.
If it is just that you are worried you are being a drag to other players, I would stop thinking so much about what other people are feeling and just take of yourself. If other players choose not to play with you because you're terrible, that is their problem. They are the ones taking it too seriously. Says more about them than you.
The beautiful thing with CoD is that 90% of the skills you develop in one CoD transfer to the next one in the series. What I'm saying is that each hour spent here, will make you a better CoD player for the future - and you can bet your ass there is going to be sequels ad infinitum. So you suck now. In a handful of months or by next release, you'll be average or better.
