Black Ops - How to Improve/Start Off

Hello All!,
After Seeing a recent influx of new players to black ops, for either prestige tokens, or just that its a better game that Mw3(personal opinion), i decided to write a guide to give people a better playing experience. I Hope you all enjoy!.


Starting off

Your Going to want to play Team Deathmatch and use the MP5 Class, purley because its one of the best guns in the game and the class works well. After your first game you will be hopefully at least Level 4.

First Classes + Cod Points

You will have earnt some COD Points, these are the currency of BO, do not spend them on your playercard/backround untill you have a decent gun with perks and attachments you like!

Class 1 -
Primary Weapon - Mp5, Cost = Free
Secondary - ASP, Cost = Free
P Attachment - Extendend Mags, Cost = 1000
Lethal - Frag, Cost = Free
Tactical - Frag. Cost = 1500
Perk 1 - Lightweight, Cost = Free
Perk 2 - Hardened, Cost = Free
Perk 3 - Hacker, Cost = 2000

This Class will be a good all round for all games and will get you going untill Level 14

Levels 14 - 30
By this time you will have unlocked the Famas, equip it with either a red dot sight, or Extended Magazines and you will have a gun to last you for the rest of the game!.

Alternate Gun Choices
Assault Rifles = Galil, AUG, Ak47, Commando
Dont Bother With the Others enless you like Single Fire Weapons
Sub Machine Guns = Ak74, MPL
Two all round solid guns for getting upclose and personal
LMGS = None
Dont Even Use them.
Snipers = L96, PSG
PSG is unlocked by buying all other snipers, however sniping is not recommended for fast leveling.
Shotguns = SPAS12
Equip with a silencer for stealth at no wepaon losses (bug ingame)


Search And Destory
Probably the best game mode to level up fast if your good.
Just got a few tips here
- Use your Equipment, it doesnt go away when you die!
- Always have SpyPlane as your first, along with counter!
- Playing With Friends Helps!
- If your using Hacker, enemy equipment usually means an enemy is near!
