Default Black Ops PC Mod Tools
From JD 2020 on the official COD forums:

We have begun updating wiki.treyarch.com with details on the Mod Tools BETA, which will be releasing Tuesday, May 31st on Steam.

I wanted to highlight here some of the things included in the package:
  • Launcher.
  • Asset Manager.
  • EffectsEd.
  • AssetViewer.
  • Maya 2009 Exporter Plugins.
  • Reference materials: Maya src files, scripts, example mods, xmodel exports, texture assets.

The PC team is still investigating the potential release of Radiant. I'll be sure to update you when I know more.
They said end of May and they are sticking to the schedule previously stated.

Sounds cool. Hey guys Im a bit new to this modding. What exactly is it? Is it cheating? Can you change the fire rate of your guns and stuff?

Not cheating. Just a way to alter guns, maps, game type. One of the well "known" mods is the Galactic Warfare, where they modded COD4 to be star wars. Its' awesome.

Are there any modders here, that can make this mod?

Random care packages falling at set intervals, in random places. 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 per sec.

Make those care packages able to be gathered much faster than normal.

The ability to allow separate players to call in the same killstreaks at the same time. 2 chopper gunners. 3 dogs. 4 Hueys.

It would be awesome if this could happen. Get back to me.
