What makes a gun overpowered?
I've read a lot about guns being OP on other forum sites, and I even posted a thread about this another site. But it turned out to be nothing more than a whole bunch of Famas bashing and when I took up for one of my friends who was getting flamed, somehow I got banned but the flamer didn't (he had it in with the administrators I think) but I want to hear about WHAT makes a gun OP not WHAT GUN is overpowered. This is my first post here so lots of replies are appreciated. Thanks

A gun is overpowered if noobs see a good player using it, and killing them with it!
Example: This guy with the M14 has killed me 44 times, the M14 is totally OP'd!
Basically a gun is called OP'd becaue noobs don't want to admit that they are getting their asses handed to them!
Also it's OP'd if it really is high power, high accuracy, high rate of fire like the AK74u used to be!

Your right about that but i still hate the famas its OP and i hate n00bs they get on my F'ing nerves thank u for saying something about n00bs.

It all depends on the gun. Im glad the AK74u isnt as bad. I love my FAMAS, but I dont think its OPing. I really dont know WHAT makes a gun OPing maybe the attachments like rapid fire? NOOB tubes still urk me :/

Honestly, the OP argument changes so much I don't bother keeping up with it. It's a waste of an argument, IMHO. As I've said before, Quoting EA Sports, "If it's in the game, it's in the game." And I'd like to add... "Shut up and play!!!" Just a general statement not directed at anyone in this thread.

i mean, all guns have their flaws... sure the famas has a high rate of fire and is a great mid-range weapon, it lacks in LONG shots... but really its just what people feel like crying about on any given day... the only gun that was OP was the AK74 but it got hot fixed and is fine now... its really just a bunch of cry babies... i get whooped by certain guns, sure... but it's not cause they're OP... its cause i'm rushing and not thinking things through... you can counter any set up or gun make up... just gotta play smart ya know...
