Personally, I think that CoD needs to stop making new titles. Modern Warfare 3 should be the last CoD there is. There have been 8 already, not to mention the side games. They've covered WWII, the Cold War, and present day. The Modern Warfare saga is over and there've been enough WWII titles. I think they had a good run but they need to quit now before people get bored with it. What about you guys? Do you think CoD has a future? If so, what should the next game be about and what should it be called?

They will make another game regardless of anyone getting bored.

With sales through the roof and elite there is no stopping that.

New game?...I have no idea what they'll do next...since they've done past and present I would have to say future

I think it might be kinda hard to do a COD in the future, because we never know what the future will bring especially when it comes to military and technology.
I dont think people will get bored with COD either, as long as they keep trying to improve on things and add more features to it all. Just like they added elite to the mix now.

As long as there is money to be made they will still make the game. People enjoy playing FPS games so why does it matter if it says COD on it or not?

As long as people buy them, they will continue to make them. Dont expect CoD to stop being made.

Well no video game makes more money than COD, so I'm pretty sure there will be lots more of them. The only thing that will stop that is if everyone quits buying it.

Very true Thump, i think (but not sure) the only game that even comes close to sales as far as a whole series would be the Halo series. But like i said i think, but not sure.

It's $60 a year for endless hours of entertainment. I'll keep buying them but I would like to see a new engine and some advanced features especially when the next Xbox hits.

What this man said. People have serious Call of Duty addictions and Activision is always going to exploit that to the fullest. Plus the younger players who have never played COD that are just getting MW3 are still new and fresh to the series. They'll never stop making it. *Food for thought: New consoles? New modes? Fresh storylines? You don't really need a NEW era in time to do that.
