What makes this game (COD5) so good?

Story line sucked but the multiplayer is fun for me XP. The zombie's in that are not as good in black op's cuz their's only1 map with pack a punch!!!!!!!

There are 3 things to this game to enjoy. The Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies.
For me, it's this...

Campaign - Can't play it due to a Pre-Owned disc.
Multiplayer - Full of hackers, but I'll still go on it every now and then for fun.
Zombies - Don't play it because of Rezurrection. I bought WAW about a month before Rezrrection, So I suppose it was good for that month.

I dunno, There's more negative than positive to this game for me, But I still like it, and won't trade it in.

u know what i liked W@W it wasn't a bad game. i mean i had it for the ps3 i played the multi player like once and a while. i wasn't a big system buff i still played Warcraft the frozen throne. so i never really got into it as much, i enjoyed the zombies A WHOLE LOT. cause lets face it if it didn't coem out on w@w it wouldn't exist. so everyone who said zombies were lame... DUDE come on. If you got W@W after black ops then yeah your gunna think negative... but still GET OVER IT its an older game, and trey arch is only now just getting the idea of how to makea better game at least blops was a decent version of W@W i mean both have problems but they're working on it.

its just simple! instead of having all this motion sensor and 25 killstreak nuke and chopper gunners and shit it was just 3 killstreaks, a gun, a knife, a grenade and thats it!

To me it was only good BEFORE the hacks, mods, ect.
The campaign was dull and uninteresting, zombies was amazing, and the multiplayer was decent. What I loved the most was the Bolt Action Rifles without the scope, basically a scopeless sniper. But now with all the hacks and mods in the game, it's not fun in multiplayer anymore, now it's 1 kill for dogs and all of that. The zombies is still decent but the people on there usually are incredibly terrible, trolling, or modding it.

Well with WaW being my favorite CoD, I can list a few reasons:

1. I am a MASSIVE history junkie, so any WWII games appeal to me.
2. The story and multiplayer were VERY gritty. Profanity, gore, darker music / tone. It was just great.
3. The bolt action rifles. 'Nuff said.
4. Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, and Dogs.
5. Zombies.
6. CO-OP CAMPAIGN!
7. Fire weapons (flamethrower / molotovs) were cool. (Especially since it would char bodies realistically, so that goes with the gore)
8. The War gamemode was VERY fun.
9. The maps were a nice mix (in my opinion) of all combative types. Corrosion was great for close range combat, roundhouse was great mid-range combat, and cliffside was great long range combat.
10. The first (and only) game in CoD with two endings (although not much changes between the 2, but oh well.)
11. Community made zombie and multiplayer maps are great.
12. The map packs for PC were free (although we got them a little bit later, but we saved 15 bucks)
13. Constant patch support
14. Call of Duty stat tracking started in WaW (AKA combat record).
15. Bayonets.
16. The perk "Shades" gave your in game character nice avaitor glasses. (lol)
17. Tanks.
18. Death Cards.
19. Paintball mode for Campaign (Death card needed)
20. Great vehicle missions (Black Cats and Blood and Iron.)

Its just so different, dirty. I just like the feel of it really
