That's awesome. I might have to get into PC gaming since the prices there just keep going down, not up like they do for console

If I had the money for this I would definitely buy it. I may still buy MW3 and/or Black Ops, I would love to play both of those games online in some protected non-hacked servers.

$9.99 for WaW is a steal. So many great custom zombies maps for that game.

Also, buyer beware with MW2. For whatever reason they released MW2 without dedicated servers on PC. This leads to the servers being 10x more hacked than console.

EDIT: moved thread to CoD News

As a console player, especially now being on the X1, I do feel sorry for the PC gamers for cod.
Modding in some games is allowed by the devs as the PC community spread 'positive' mods -- think Minecraft. However, I detest cheating, and modding in Cod is all about cheating. Sadly, thre PC gamers generally get modded more so that consoles.
Scarecrow, your above statement made me go wow. Because I remember playing MW2 on the 360. IW was splitting and the modding/jtagging got out of hand. There were speed lobbies - easy to detect and back out. More annoyingly for me there were also many Prestige lobbies. The number of xbox messages I got "Join for master prestige, blah blah blah" was astounding. That's Ok - I obviously didn't reply. BUT, my final game of MW2 was when I JIPed into a lobbie as normal. Made a kill, noticed something, but just shrugged. Made another kill, OH CRAP.... a logarithmic number for the score. I quickly exited the game. If I knew then what I know now I would have turned the console off rather than exiting via the menu/. My stats were / still are corrupted to master prestige. Such as shame...... never played MW2 since
If modding on the PC is worse -- jebus !
It would be a boring world if we all thought the same....

Most of the modding on PC CoD games are really cool. Custom maps, new weapons, new perks, etc. and they're always going to be on servers that tell you in the description "Hey, we're using these mods, if you want to play the vanilla game you're going to want to connect to a different server" which is cool. I have every CoD except for Ghosts and Black Ops 2 on PC and they all run great with awesome servers with the exception being MW2. Not only is player count low on it, but the players that are on are probably 95% hackers or will change the gamemode to a knockoff zombies or Michael Myers gamemode.

Thanks crow. Good to hear that modding in cod can be positive
Being on the ATVI Cod 4M --> so many complaints about hacking/modding in the PC realm.

Side note: For me, MW2 has the best collection of multiplayer maps. Great variety, and maps which played well regardless of game mode.

Sadly here in the EU it's 200 euros so it's around 300 dollars. And I wouldn't buy it because I have most of the COD games on steam (except COD4-MW2).

Agreed with @scarecrowman for example COD 4 and WaW are pretty much unplayable on console, and on PC you can get a great experience.

On the topic of the thread a good deal on the dlc.
