Speaking of the DLC, CoD4 and WaW come with all the game's DLC with the game. So if you buy WaW and / or CoD4 you get the game + all 4 (1 in CoD4's case) DLC for $9.99.Makes the deal even better!

This is why I don't think MW2 is good buy because you have to buy the DLC maps seperatly.
I think about buying COD4 and WAW but unlike you guys I don't think it's a really good price. WAW is a six years old game and it costs 12.49 euros. Sometime I can buy one or even half years old AAA title around 5-10 euros. I think the old COD games overpriced.

For what you get out of WaW it's a great price. I paid about 30 USD for it on PC a few years back and I would've gladly paid 60. On PC it's an entirely different game than it is on console. It plays better, looks better, and you get loads of custom content. I've probably a lot of custom zombies maps that were better than any official zombies maps I've played. It's also really fun to play on servers that run 30 vs. 30 team deathmatch on maps like Seelow and Downfall. It feels like a much different game than a CoD when you get on a server like that. I'm probably biased as I love WW2 FPS games, but oh well.

It sounds weird but I don't really care about the zombie mods. I really like the dark atmosphere of the MP however but I don't know if players still play it.

I haven't played it in a month or two, but last I did play the servers had plenty of life to them. The only issue I'd see you potentially running into is if you liked to play an unpopular gamemode like sabotage. As long as you mainly play TDM, SnD, Domination, or War you're probably fine. Most of the servers support 20-60+ players though, so you won't get many normal 6v6 servers like console has.

Well, a storm helped to decide about buying it or not. I had no internet for two days.

I decided to pick up a copy of MW3 on PC for $20 bucks this past weekend. Apparently, this clearance sale wasn't only limited to steam, but at any location. @jeszkar sorry to hear that bud, I'm sure at some point in the future they will have another sale.

You can use a controller if it's anything like WaW. The PC version of WaW doesn't allow you to use a controller but if you enable the use of a controller via console and have a controller simulation program then you can use one. I sometimes use my PS4 controller to play WaW on my PC, although I prefer to us kb+m. The one I use is specifically for the PS4 and PS3 controllers, but I hear xpadder is good for xbox controllers.
