Eminem Concert at Activision E3 Event

Eminem closed Activision’s star-studded E3 preview concert with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. In addition to his show-stopping performance with Rihanna, Slim Shady debuted his Pink-assisted collabo “Won’t Back Down” featured in the Call of Duty: Black Ops video game, spit his verses from B.o.B’s “Airplanes, Pt. II” and Drake’s “Forever,” brought out a church choir for “Not Afraid,” and had the gamers on their feet for the finale consisting of his Oscar-winning hit “Lose Yourself.”

Seemed like a pretty cool event to be at.

Amazing show. My dad saw this on TV and immediately said, "Why would Eminem put on a show at a videogame conference?"

How can people say that videogaming isn't a serious medium? You won't see a senior lead on a videogame that sells millions of copies get the same amount of press, prestige, or money as a guy who writes a book that sells the same.

Just because the audience is different (aka younger), the industry isn't taken as serious.
