Ok, did you get the truck sorted in the end? What was wrong with the second tyre? Was that flat or bald too? Seems very unfortunate that two would blow in one journey, Ive never have one blow out *Touch wood* although mine are normally pretty well inflated and because we have MOT's over here yearly the tread on them cant get too low.

@ spank2103 The spare blew as well about forty miles on down the road. We couldn't find anywhere to get a used tire or an additional spare all weekend. I'm going this afternoon to try to get something to get us back on the road with it.
I did have a friend come get me and take me and the little one home, while hubby and friend found a way to get the groceries home. We had the car towed home Saturday.
The bad part is, the original tire that blew, after looking at it there was nothing really that bad wrong with it. Still had plenty of tread, and no obvious signs of running anything over, but it blew the sidewall out, so there must have been a defect in the belting or a slow leak (as we even carry a pressure gauge in the car lol we try to prevent this stuff). I don't know. I'd say the spare was just old and dry rotted and eh well, just my bad luck.
Priced a new set of tires for the car.... $700 USD

That sucks faerie. I had the same crap happen with a trailer of mine. did you check prices at tirerack.com? you can get tires at a good price then have walmart mount and balance them for you on the cheap.

@ CrazeeFingerz I've been super busy with my car thing, but yours was the quickest of all of them since it was just a name change so I went ahead and got that one checked off
