What is up Call of Duty Fans?! Most of you know me as your friendly neighborhood forum moderator or the guy who busts cheaters on Call of Duty. What you don't know is I'm also a supporter of good causes.

On October 20th I will be participating in the Extra Life Video gaming Marathon with the help and support of my friend and fellow Moderator; Buddhacrous.
Extra Life a 24 hour gaming session to support local Children's Miracle Network hospitals. I will be supporting my local childrens hospital; The Sick Kids Foundation.

For the last four years, thousands of gamers have joined together annually to play for 24 hours for Extra Life – a gaming marathon in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. Gamers rally friends and family members to sponsor their play. The funds they raise go to help save and improve the lives of kids at the CMN Hospital in their community.
Since 2008, our incredible players have raised more than 2 million dollars, and this year, on October 20th, 2012 we believe they will outdo themselves yet again."

As a representative of IplayCod and a guy who helps Infinity Ward out from time to time, I love getting out there and giving back. I can't do it alone though.... so, here's the deal:

•Anybody that makes a donation of $50 or more will be entered to win a copy of Black Ops 2 Care Package courtesy of IPC & KontrolFreek when it releases
~Minimum 2 donors required for prize to be won

• Anybody that makes a donation between $20-$49.99 will be entered to win a copy of Black Ops 2 when it's released.

• Anybody that makes a donation of $1-$19.99 or more will be entered to win one of two Modern Warfare 3 DLC collection 4 codes for Xbox OR 1600 MS Points OR $20 PSN Card

Together we can help out this Children's Miracle Network Hospital. When October 20th rolls around I will be playing with Buddhacrous and some friends from Infinity Ward like Candyslexia and Undeadmanwalkin. We are going to do our best effort to live stream the event. I should probably stock up on energy drinks

We are going to try in future to form an IPC staff team, but since we missed the chance it will just be myself participating with the help and support of Buddha.

On a personal note, this particular hospital is of interest to me, because my 7 year old Nephew was born with a heart condition, and will always require a pace maker. He frequently visits Sick Kids hospital and they continue to make sure his little ticker is running smoothly.
