Along with this, if you are trying to do something that is against the spirit of the rules below, but is technically allowed, you will get an infraction and be banned.
If you do something that is not nice, but is not specifically mentioned in the rules, you will get an infraction or be banned.
Your posts can't only be links to your videos and channels. You must partake in the community. Do NOT make your first post a link to one of your YouTube videos. You will be given an infraction. This site is not here to promote your videos but we allow you to share them you just can't make it where those are your only posts.

Seriously, Follow the rules. If you don't you will get an infraction. Three strikes and you are out for 10days. If you are really outrageous about it, you may be banned on the first time, but everyone will usually get at least one warning.
1 point is a reminder about the rules.
2 points puts you on edge for ban
3 points is a 10 day ban
4 points is a permanent ban
Some types of infractions like people posting links to their own site or advertising other sites will get you 2 points automatically.
Treat the Mods with respect
Please treat my Mods with respect. Talk to them the same way you would talk to me. They are what makes the site work, so treat them good.
Be Respectful
Do not be cruel, hurtful, mean, insulting, racist, or any kind of hateful for no reason. We pride ourselves here on our friendliness and do not want to scare new people away. This is what sets us apart from the other sites, so please do not screw this up by talking down to and belittling other members especially newbies.
Members are not allowed to police each other
Self policing causes a hostile environment and that isn't what we are known for.

Don't call them out and mention a staff member. It is more effective to report the post using the "report post" button and give your reasoning there. All reported posts are instantly sent to the staff and they will deal with the problem accordingly.
Controversial Threads
This rule is in effect to prevent controversial threads. This includes but not limited to the following:
- Political
- Drugs
- Sexual Orientation
If it's not listed above but is a controversial subject it is included. If you are breaking the spirit of this rule you will be given an infraction as the rules state.
Don't Hijack Threads
Do NOT Hijack threads. This is where you post a question or comment completely unrelated to the thread. It is confusing to everyone and if there is an answer to your questions people in the future will not be able to find the information. Posting is free so just start a new topic in the correct section
Search FIRST, then ask
Search the forum first for symptoms to your problem. We have over 41,000 posts so chances are, someone has had your same problem. Just search to see if you can find your answer in the forum first, it is faster and keeps things less cluttered.
Do Not Advertise Other Sites
We work hard to build this site up. We do not want to use it for unpaid advertisements. If you post links to another site via a thread, signature, avatar, post, or profile, you will get an infraction. If you are outrageous with your posting of other sites, you will be banned.

Names and Avatars
Avatars and Names may be (almost) anything you want. We are sure you can figure out what is acceptable, if you can't we will let you know.
They can not be pornographic in nature. Some things are allowed but most are not.
No registering names that are similar to any of the staff.
Posting other People's information
If you are going to post something that you read somewhere else do either of these:
1) rewrite it, so that it is yours and not someone elses so we don't get accused of plagiarism or copyright infringement
2) post that it came from another site. i don't want a link to the site, but please mention that you did not write it.
ie: "Guys, big news, this came directly from the manufacturer's website."
Do NOT PM Mods or Admins for Help
DO NOT PM Mods about helping you with your special situation. They are busy enough. They are not going to get to you any faster. If you post in the forum, chances are the more experienced members will get to you and help out. This way, everyone can benefit. This is a forum, not a private message haven so that you can get your own private issue resolved. PM should only be used to send private information to someone else. Not to get support
No Spamming
No spamming allowed period. This includes using pm's to send people invites that were not asked for. We encourage everyone to report any cases of spamming to the Admin and/or Mods. Please forward a copy of the Spam. If the Spam is found to be valid, the offender will be banned.
One User, One account
Please only sign up once unless you are stuck and can't get your username or password because you don't have access to your e-mail. This way we can keep an accurate count of the members in the database and it isn't clogged up with fake accounts.
Goodbye Threads
Posting goodbye threads in the public forums is strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban. You are allowed to say "Hey I am going out of town for a month and won't be on". You are NOT allowed to say something like "I'm leaving the site for good. This site is cool but I have better things to do".
Don't publicly tell people you are leaving the site, if you don't like the site, don't come back. There is no need to make a thread for it and will result in permanent ban and you will no longer have the option of coming back if you wish to do so in the future.
General Information and Rules
Call of Duty is a Mature game and we expect our members to be mature. If you are offended by profanity or adult language, we suggest you leave now. If you view the site we expect that you are old enough to read such things.
You are ok with using profanity in your posts as long as it's not attacking members.

Please use the report a post option to report any posts you feel are inappropriate and we will take necessary action. Do NOT send admin or moderators PM's about someone's post. It will NOT be responded to.
25 vid post count
Anyone under the post count of 25 who post's their youtube account or post any video of some sort will be infracted/banned.
How can I be a moderator?
The first thing you definitely don't do is send a PM or start a thread asking. The moderators chosen to date have been hand picked from the community based on activity on the site and tenure on the site. Asking if you can be a moderator will not help you any and will most likely annoy those you ask.
You can't be a member for a week and be a moderator. Just because you're not offered a moderator position doesn't mean you aren't active enough. Keep up your activity and your positive attitude. Your efforts don't go un-noticed. Other moderators will notice your activity as well and recommend those they see fit.
When we are looking for a moderator we will notify those that have filled out the
Moderator Application.
What are Prestige Members?
Prestige members are the elite of the elite. They are the loyal user base that is seen on the site almost every day. Posting a bunch doesn't just get you into this group. You need to be seen on the site as someone who can help people, direct them to the proper links when they ask questions, welcome members etc.
Prestige members get unique opportunities for giveaways, prizes, contests, tournaments etc. You do not ask to join this group, you are invited so keep up the good work on the site and you'll see your invitation soon enough.
