Concern about members policing

As long as it is done with a friendly "tone". Basically we just need to keep some perspective. A duplicate thread or a double post is not good but a hostile environment is worse.

Just put yourselves in their shoes. They are already new here and don't know anyone. They are a little nervous and making themselves a bit vulnerable by posting on a new forum. The last thing they want is excessive criticism. We want new members to respect the rules but we want them to feel welcome too. We want them to become IPC regulars and part of our community. We don't want to bully them and run them off.

BTW:

THERE IS NO RULE ABOUT LINKS <25 POSTS! There is a rule about posting vids or youtube accont under 25 posts. According to the rule regarding advertising, you are not allowed to post links to other sites, EVER, regardless of how many posts you have. Links to YouTube (after 25 posts), Twitter and Facebook are Okay.

Awesome, I can do friendly advice. So is that the definitive policy about the 25 posts? I just ask because I've seen mods say things like:

You need 25 posts in order to post links or videos.

I just wanna be clear on it for my own benefit
