need help with my radar !!!

Hi Everyone , i have problem with my cod mw2 :/ sorry I'm a new user and didn't really know where to post it .

lets get to the point :

my radar window got really large and ugly :/ i dont know how to disable is , also at the same time a small box appeared on the screen while playing (kind of net graph or something like that ) also dunno how to get rid off it

sorry for being a noob I'll appreciate if someone can help me with this issue .

You ust have gotten into a hacked lobby at one point. Try restarting your system. If that doesnt work let me know.

hi buddy , restarting my pc was first thing i did . at first nothing has changed , but when I've turned my pc on today the funny square vanished but my radar is still bigger , and I think I'm reloading faster then before :/ hope I'll not get some kind of vac ban for that .

what to do next ?

While I'm not a PC gamer myself, the fix for this problem is apparently to delete the config_mp.cfg file from your Modern Warfare 2 folder. It can be found by going through the following folder path:

Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/CODMW2/players

Personally, I'd suggest you do not delete your original config_mp.cfg file, but rather move it out of that folder and keep it in your Documents or something. If you do that then you'll be able to hold onto it should the fix not work. I do believe it will work for you though.

The larger radar and increased reload speeds are a symptom of certain modified lobbies running in the game. Unfortunately there's not much beyond what I've told you that I know can be done. Modern Warfare 2 was an extremely popular game to hack for some reason or another. Hopefully this will be of help to you.

Thank you guys for help it worked !!! Once I've deleted the config file all my graphics settings and keyboard went back to default and the problem with both radar and the square has disappeared
