Hipfire or looking down the sights?

Which one actually works better with a shotgun looking down the sights or hipfire. i prefer hipfire but when my brother plays he always looks down the sights and it drives me crazy

I do this: Tap ADS kinda like quick scoping with the shotgun.

I prefer hipfire.. Have steady aim on all classes with shotguns.. Haven't tried "quickscoping" but i might :P

I go hip but never use grip it stops the spread of bullets. I go hip extended becuase my bullets spray up down and usaly get my kills in 1 shot if not im usaly fast enough to get off another for the killing blow. Also the spread gets my some pretty beast off 5 story building half way down headshots.

I always aim down the site, dunno why. Hipfiring drives me crazy :P

i usually hipfire but when i want my bullets to go farther with the shotty i tend to scope in real quick before i shoot.

When you have steady aim on a shotgun and you ADS you're actually increasing the spread of the bullets, which decreases the kill range of the shot.
