NON-Prestigers, you might wanna look in THIS thread!!

This video is from TmarTn. He is a well know youtube commentary, he helps COD players get better by offering up his help, strategies and so forth. He has some proof that US non-prestigers might just get the shit stick if we do NOT prestige.

Treyarch is basically trying to make you prestige.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the 3:50 mark, that is the part you want to REALLY listen to.

I'll summarize, basically, you get a point each time you level up and each time you level up you can choose to unlock ONE of 7 items per rank up, 1-55. You will NOT be able to unlock all equipment, guns, attachments, etc. in one full rank level. It will take several prestiges to unlock all that stuff.

Take a look for your self and see if you understand it that way as well.

You see, that's the kicker. If it's true, I'm in a non-prestige clan that has been around for years and years so we don't know what we will do if that is true.

Awww f*ck no I rarely have any time to play video games, so I just stick to max level, non-prestige. However, with this......This is just ridiculous that non-prestigers won't unlock all equipment if you don't prestige. Gosh damn it...They need to think about it before releasing it

I don't have a problem with this since I love to prestige. But for people who don't, this sucks for. It is a neat new feature though for COD.

Assuming the levels are set up like past games (where it progressively takes more XP to level up) then maybe a way to meet people halfway is if you don't prestige, you can continue to get unlock points but it will take the same amount of XP as it took to go from level 54 to level 55.

This way you're not stuck in the water if you choose not to prestige, but it encourages prestiging still since you'll get unlock points much faster that way.

I love to prestige, I love to rank up. So this doesn't effect me negatively. Although I see how it can be negative for some people as you would have to choose wisely as to what you want to unlock.

I was actually thinking about not prestiging this game and just enjoying all the weapons and perks. I guess they have made my decision for me now.
