    I just read that the Ghost perk will be returning in Black Ops 2. However -- it is FIXED! Well, somewhat . It still hides people from the UAV/Spyplane/whathaveyou... but only when they are on the move! So corner campers will show up brighter than the moon on a clear winter night! Now, the question is what constitutes "on the move?" Does moving back and forth two feet left and right count as "on the move?" I sure hope not. In my opinion I think you should need to satisfy two conditions to be hidden from the UAV... FIRST: you have to have been moving for at least the last 3 seconds, and SECOND: You need to be at least 3 meters / 10 feet, etc. from where you were 15 seconds ago.

    Either way I'm happy this perk is at least somewhat fixed. Maybe if someone is in the same location (no movement whatsoever) for more than 5 or maybe 10 seconds they show up like a black bird is watching them, or like they've been hit with a Recon user in MW3...

    What parameters do YOU think a player should need to satisfy for Ghost to have it's full effect?

    That sucks! (Yes I'm being a noob right now. ) This is a win lose situation. Say you are trying to camp with a sniper in search and boom and spy plane and you are on the radar. If it's the other way around it's fine.

    IMO they ruined the perk, it's useless now pretty much.

    This is a good thing for my play style as Im generally always moving. I'll get to be extra sneaky this way. I'm curious to see what constitutes moving enough to be off the radar as well.

    I can see how this would be frustrating for snipers like you said Jake, I don't think snipers should be punished for getting in a good spot and keeping the enemy scared. However, I guess you would just have to equip a stinger just in case. I think a lot more people will be using stingers now because of this, which is a good thing really.

    It's somehow suppose to reduce the majority of camping for players. Although I don't mind snipers camping.

    Though, what I suggest for the perk, Ghost, is that if a radar support from the enemies appears, the player with Ghost will be detected on the mini map every few seconds or so.

    This somewhat balances Ghost. If Ghost were to cause the player to be invisible the entire time, then it won't be really 'fixed'. If the player has to move in order to remain invisible, it is possible that the player may be spamming movements of 5ft-10ft or so and then come back to the camping area.

    With my suggestion, the player with Ghost gets detected every few seconds (at least five seconds to make it fair). This causes the player with Ghost to keep moving around while the enemies are searching for that player while remaining invisible from radar until he gets detected every five seconds or so.

    It's just like infected, the last guy remaining gets detected once, then a few seconds passes by, then he gets detected again.

    What that spamming motion may do however, is accidentally put the camper into someones sight line and don't forget he'd have to be moving for the entire duration of the UAV.
    I can sure see people easier if they are attempting to move back and forth rather than sat in a dark corner.
    What I like most about the perks so far is you going to have to sacrifice alot to be invisible from everything. Corner campers are going to find it very difficult indeed.

    What is the point of having a perk that only works half the time? I was starting to get excited about this game, but if they are going to take away half the abilities for the perks than i am quickly losing interest. Their going to take away the ability for snipers, and objective guards to remain unseen....

    I understand what you mean. For tactical snipers it's a big disadvantage. That would be a nice balance to make to where if you have the pro perk and a sniper equipped it would nullify it t

    Personally I'm pleased it'll stop the corner campers, as for the sniper campers, they'll just have to rethink their strategy. It's not broken thats for sure.
