I just think the pic doesn't make sense... what's that big thing on the left? looks like a shield from Rainbow six, a lot of the graphics look way too IW to be Treyarch. And the weapon? pffft!. Also look how fake the mini map looks... This is a Photoshop job, albeit a half decent one

From what I can gather, they're continuing the campaign from Black Ops 1 and that was set around Vietnam/Cold war 1960's era, if I'm not mistaken. The gun in the picture is the Mp7. That was introduced in 2001.

It's only April though and considering MP wasn't at this stage this early for any of the other games, it doesn't really seem that realistic that it could be real.

lol exactly. Even if some of the guns in Black ops were not anachronistic, to have a gun like the MP7 that is so much so, would be foolish. Even if Black Ops 2 continued in the cold war in either the 70s or 80s it would be ridiculous to have this weapon included

im just waiting for the next game to come out from the Cod 4 team, that was the best Cod and still is, except for how its getting ignored because activison fired the team who worked on that game

Well as said, I think we knew it was fake after looking at it for about 60 seconds. However I got excited as I read the tweet and opened up the image, that is enough to prove to me how excited I am for Black Ops 2, I cannot WAIT until official information starts getting thrown around everywhere.

I knew the image was bad when I looked at it, but then the info started pouring in on why it was bad, but it made realize just how much the community is looking forward to the new CoD.
