Should Claymores Count Towards Killstreaks
Before you flame, here's my reasoning...
1. I use claymores with scavenger so this affects me but I'm looking to make things more fair.
2. It reduces the likelihood of campers just cornering themselves and protecting themselves with claymores getting killstreaks with them.
3. There's not much skill... I say not much because knowing how to place them around corners where it's too late to notice has some skill.
That being said I think it would make things a little better if they didn't count. Because on certain maps I know I could set up shop in an area with scavenger setting 2 claymores at a time getting to my killstreaks without having to fire a bullet.

i think they should count and there is a perk to offset claymores i think its lightweight pro,,which delays the claymore from going off...so its not a guaranteed kill everytime..ive set em up only to have people run right thru em and stab me....i also think the care packages should count towards kill streak also

I have come to terms that claymores should count.
However, care packages should not. If you get a chopper gunner in a care package, how is it fair to use a Chopper Gunner to get another Chopper Gunner.

other killstreak settings count towards them why not a care package, in a game littered with unfairness...cheats, glitches , boosting. why not even the field for the honest players out here its just makes no sense to me

Scrambler Pro is the Perk that delays enemy claymores. I think Claymore should count since I haven't seen too many people abuse it as of yet. I'd rather they spend time fixing all the damn glitches, cheats and hacks that people keep using. Also, i think care packages should count for killstreak, but only up to 10 kill killstreaks, after that you get the points for the kills, but it doesn't make your kill streak any higher until you start killing people normally again (with your other killstreaks, personal weapon, claymore, etc.)

I completely disagree with the idea of care packages counting toward killstreaks. Say you get a chopper gunner in a care package. You use the chopper gunner, and it gets you enough kills to get an emergency airdrop. You call in the emergency airdrop, and it gets you a predator, a harrier strike, and a pave low. All three of those combined EASILY gets you to 25 kills. That's 4 kills with a weapon, and 21 kills with air support. Nuke's shouldn't be that easy.
Claymores, however, definitely should count. For starters, you only get one of them, and if you don't have scavenger, it's a one-and-done deal. If you do have scavenger, everytime your claymore gets a kill, you have to go and get the scavenger pack and place another claymore. If claymore kills shouldn't count, neither should grenade kills. In my eyes, it takes MUCH more skill to place a claymore correctly than it is to throw a grenade in a random direction. Most of my claymores get run through anyway since so many people are whoring marathon/lightweight classes these days.

Claymooooores!!!!
I love the claymore, my favorite piece of equipment. I get tired of Semtex. Just throw it somewhere and get a double kill.
The thing has the blast radius of a small nuke, i run, and run, and run away from it but still manage to get one shot killed from it.
I like the claymore because its tactical. Im not much for camping but its not smart to run around out in the open all the time. Besides there is usually more than one entrance to a room... Never used Scavenger either, interesting thought about the two claymores though. Also it needs to be angled correctly, there are perks that pretty much only affect the claymore too. Lightweight, to run through, Sight (or whatever it is, never used it so...) to see it before you see it. Also it makes a click and you can back out before it blows you up. If you are running blindly into a room you should get blown up and that person should get a kill counted toward their killstreak.
Semtex spam, whole clans of kids with semtex equipped nuking a room!!!! Then spawning 10 feet away after you shoot them and throwing more!!!! w00t!
But IMO claymores should count or no equipment should count. Then killing someone with a flashbang shouldnt count, etc. Anything personally on you should be attributed to your kills. Its all part of survival, use what you have. Care packages, I would like to see them count but in the same respect the person that got an emergency airdrop would nuke every map. ( I make it a point to cap the person with 0 deaths )
Also, could you imagine with the care package glitch ...

I love when people do this on my team, 3 people on my team do this to one house while the other three roam around the building or everywhere. At times we all do camp one house when someone has a nuke coming soon, it's like a new born baby lmao. But anyways, they ALL know how to place claymore very precise so that other people do not see it and so they it most likely can not get run past. People also have the advantage to put Scrambler Pro on if they do not like the claymores.
So... I don't complain if someone does it to me because I am sure as hell not going back to that spot they are camping if they killed me at least twice. I'll get something that will take them out.

understandable, i do the same thing, and setting clays takes skill. but the factor of people setting up shop with them will happen with or without the fact that the kills go towards killstreaks. so might as well add it on to make there camping time reduce. or worse... people will always camp no way to stop that. unless.... "warning you have been standing still for 3 seconds, you will be shot if you do not move" that message should pop up on the screen ;D
