MW2 still worth buying?

Sp yeah I've been thinking, MW2 seems like an awsome game online, but I only have it for the PC and I'm totally not used to play FPS games on the PC anymore lol.

So, should I sell the PC copy and buy a PS3 copy of the game? or should I wait for MW3?

I think it would be a good buy but the only downside will be the player count if your looking to play online....i got a couple friends that still play it all the time but they are few and far between. But if your going for PSN trophies....WHY NOT !?!?!

The storyline isnt the problem because I already finished the campaign on the PC version lol.

What I actually care about is the Multiplayer.

its not worth it. MW2 is pretty much unplayable anymore. There are so many hackers it is frustrating trying to find a legit lobby to play in. Save the money and wait for MW3

I disagree. Modern Warfare 2 is a great game. I have it BOTH on the Xbox360 and the PC. IMO, the PC has much better graphics if you play on the highest resolution or a little bit lower and set the graphics on High or Extra. The Xbox360 has a graphical difference and thus PC is better to play on. On topic, I think you should just go and buy the Used version of MW2. Then save your money for MW3.

yeah MW2 is def. still playable in fact if you got it I would totally play with you haha I throw it in when I get momentarily tired of black ops for awhile haha It really is a lot of fun online and there are still plenty of people on to play with. so IMO go for it =]

I never meant that it was unplayable in the sense of its a bad game.MW2 is a great game, its just the 4 or 5 times i have tried to play on PS3 recently, it wasn't even worth playing. Every lobby i was put into had atleast 1 hacker in it. One game i got put into, you coldn't even spawn because as soon as you did, you instantly died due to a hacker. there were also people jumping sky high and also throwing down unlimited emergency airdrops.

@TheGodofC0okies, Since you have already played it for PC, there is not much you are missing but the insane amount of hackers.

and @tha doctordeath, careful who you call kid, judging by a photo I seen of you, I am older than you. That was just my opinion and I gave my reason which many of you failed to notice.

its worth buying but get it of ebay i wouldnt pay full price for it used ebay copy always the best option
