If it's your own care package it counts towards your killstreak. If you steal enemy or save teammates it does not.

Also if you get for example a predator missile and are killed and use it after respawning and get double kill after respawning it doesn't count towards your killstreak as you died prior to using.

Also if you have a sentry gun it will count towards your killstreak as long as you remain alive after placing. If you die and respawn and it's still going the kills after respwaning won't count towards your killstreak.

I'm fairly certain that is correct but could be mistaken.

the care package part is incorrect. Even if it is your care package, it still doesnt count towards your kill streak

no, it doesnt, i got an AC-130 in one of my carepacks and i still had to get another kill to get a predator after.

I guess only if it's a "care package" for a sentry gun since if it's the actual killstreak and not a random one.

I know that the actual sentry that you need 5 kills for works. So, yeah, that one is confirmed.

has anyone noticed their kills not getting counted towards kill streaks. Its happened a few times with my buddy Alex over where we got the Sentry and none of its kills counted it seemed.

Yes, we were still alive from getting the Sentry and Yes we do know how to count.

Its only happened like 3 times but its almost like the game messes up every now and again.
