Need Help Ranking Up

i need help growing lvls on mw2. i had the game for about a month and i am only lvl 30. i am really good and dont see how to grow lvls fast.guns to use,gametypes to play or any tips wouldn be helpful.thank you

Do challenges that you know you can do.
Ground wars you can get a lot of kills
CTF(Capture the flag) usually gets you a lot of EXP.
Just play the game :P

Moving through different guns helps but I can understand if you are partial to your Tar or Scar.

Look through the challenges area at your guns, perks, and miscellaneous challenges and find something that you like doing it and go at it. Usually getting a good challenge completed will get you up a level or two before you get there.

Don't just always use the same gun. When you finish one- move on to the next one. Same with perks.
Killstreak challenges are super easy to do. Depending on how good you are you could just start off with the easy ones- UAV, counter and predator and get the xp from completing those.
Also, headquarters gets you a ton of points along with a ton of kills.
I prefer playing S&D to level up cus you get ridiculous points for each kill and planting or defusing.

Like everyone else said, challenges are the easiest way. I use the Emergency Air Drop method to gain a decent amount of points. Throw out the drop and just give all of the packages to your team mates. I also find that playing demolition nets me a lot of points, can usually bang out 10,000 or more a game.

Yah but I'm also a ninth prestige level 70 with no desire to go to 10th so I don't NEED POINTS I need harriers!! GRR

Definitely follow the advice above about moving through the guns, varying it up. I am an assault rifle user at my best so what I did (9 prestige and about to go 10) was complete the ordinary max kills challenge with a particular gun, then move on to the next one. Then prestige and come back and do it again with that gun and the next. That way you are also moving toward completing the Veteran challenge done simultaneously. Wash rinse repeat.

If you aren't assured to get 10-20 kills in Search and Destroy each game, Demolition will provide the most match bonus for you. Play that with new guns and you should get a lot of challenges. You should rank up much faster by doing this.
