Fix an Xbox 360?

Hey guys,
I have 2 Xbox 360s right now: One is red-ringed and the other is working. The broken one is sitting in the corner just collecting dust right now. Because me and my sister are always fighting over the Xbox (Yes, she plays. An Yes, She is very good), i feel that we should just get the second xbox fixed!

This is where i need your help. I searched up how to fix an xbox on youtube, and i got too many videos to count. Do any of you know of a reliable guide or video that will help me fix it? Thank you all if you can help!

im pretty sure there isnt a permenant solution to red rings. your best bet would be to send it in to microsoft and have to wait a month for a new one.

You can likely find someone on Craigslist that can fix it for $40. I did mine over a year ago and runs like a champ.

3. I've already done the towel trick on it in the past so it doesnt work anymore

Then whoever fixed it did it wrong the first time. If they do it right they reapply the heat sync with better thermal paste and it's a pretty permanent fix.
