I was that way for a good 3 or 4 years.
And then, about a month ago, I saw a 10-day free trial advertisement on Wikipedia, and decided it was about time to try it out. I needed a new RPG and I was curious as to whether or not my laptop could run it.
So I downloaded the free trial and started playing, learning the ropes, getting used to the controls and mechanics.
And after about a week, I really, REALLY liked it. So I spent the $20 activation fee to unlock my trial account and give me full access to the game. And that's where I'm at now, still on the first month.
And still not sure whether I'm hooked enough to pay the $70 for the 6-month timecard... It's definitely a fun game, though. The professions definitely add something I haven't seen in ANY other game...
