Need help with Search & Destroy

Title says it all. I need some help playing S&D. I keep searching but keep getting destroyed. So, if you have any tips, I would love to hear them. Thanks in advance.

I've been playing SnD more and more on MW3. You have to use tactics like Portable Radars, stay around the edges,.or rush. It all depends on what type of gunner you are. I said rush cause I like to get to the middle or bomb site before they do. Assassin Pro is your best friend If I use my MK14 I skow it waaaaaay the heck down and use Dead Silence Pro

Well if you are playing core SnD it is best advised to use a good all range weapon such as an ACR or any other AR. Make sure you try to silence any and all weapons you have so you do not show up on the radar everytime you shoot. I also recommend using assasin and either sitrep or dead silence. I have noticed alot of people will pay close attention to any and all sounds so dead silence will help you out greatly. Use a motion sensor to pick up the poor souls not using assassin and stick to walls. Typically wandering out into the open will get you nothing but a bullet in the head. Best of luck!

Once you play all the maps over and over you get the feel of certain spots where snipers may be. Like on Arkaden (spl) if you have the bomb you know.they might be coming up the B side. They are a few spots you will get used to defend as well. Practice make perfect!! Good luck! Oh and remember spawn areas

Actually I don't always use a silencer because if you shoot the noobier players will run to here you shot just sit and wait like a camper lmao. Or distracting if you shoot at A then run to b and plant they will be at A still. If you silence your primary at least insolence your secondary. Rush at first to get position and then take it slow.

Ie Hardhat quickplant by running through the pipe but then just defend in a cautious manner. Eventually you realize which bomb sites easier to plant at and for defending you will eventually figure out where they rush at. SnD is just as much skill as it is experience.

But from my experienence I acquire skill over time I hated SnD in MW2, played so/so on Blops and acquired a love on MW3. Over time my young child


Okay Fail for enemy going back to using tactics.... Someone planted the bomb me and dude were last alive I threw a flash opposite from me and he reacted by going in that direction. I spotted him from his camping running and bam he was dead. Use tactics my friend

Distraction works... try smoke grenades. Here's eh tactic:

1. Smoke A.
2. Get into a overwatch position to cover A.
3. Pick off campers.

If you have the bomb, plant before step 2 and after step 1, so they will all run out of camping spots and make your job easier.

Thanks for the tips guys (n gal). I'll try them out and let you know how I do. @gmrgrl4life I agree...the more I play the maps in this mode, I am learning where to look for people, and where they like to rush.

Well i play Hardcore SnD. So normally i use the ACR with impact to u can shoot through the bomb sites if they are planting. But on offense i just chill back for a bit wait for the rushers pick them off then move in. But on defense just chill back and watch the bomb sites from as far back as you can but make sure u can see the one you are watching so they dont plant.
