HQ, Dem, CTF Tips

I have started to play some of the objective games a lot more (Headquarters, Demolition, & Capture the Flag). I would love to hear some tips for these gametypes from some of you more experienced players. They are a lot of fun, and a change a pace, but I seem to be getting owned in a lot of them. I know I catch myself just running blindly towards the objective and not even looking around for enemies, but some tips and suggestions would be great.

I play demolition quite a bit (which doesn't help my K/D much). I dont consider myself an expert, but some things i have found helpful are:

1) When defending, pick the site that is easiest to defend and stay with it. If there is one site that is open and tough to defend, then don't waste your time (and deaths) trying to defend it. Concede it and protect the site that is most valuable

2) On the other side, i always like to double plant that "easiest site to defend" (actually hardest to plant when on offense) about 5 seconds after the first plant. When that first plant goes down, some guys are going to attract to it, hopefully leaving the other site open for planting. And then hopefully your team goes to that one to defend it once planted.

Also, pre-nades are going to help a LOT. get in there and try to follow this rule: 2 ppl for entrance linked to high traffic areas, and 1 for low traffic. Also, guard only INDIRECTLY. Get into a spot where you aren't in the LoS of rushers, and watch the entrance from the outside. This should get you lots of kills and allow you to hold the objective.
