It's Tips and Tricks time Ladies and Gents!

Alright guys, as most of you already know, I'm getting MW3 this Xmas.

But before I get the game and start dieing like an idiot, I would like you guys to leave your tips and tricks around here so I can go out there and open a can of Whoop @ss.

So Ladies and Gents, what do you have for me?

Dont run n gun right off the bat... Id suggest an assault rifle (Scar) and kinda stay back a little bit learn spawn points and map hot spots... Play slow at first then get faster!

Yea, i would just learn the spawn points and maps a bit first. Play it slow and steady. If you go out and run and gun then you will die. Just like hardkohrr said, i would start off with an assault rifle, either the scar or possibly the m4 due to its accuracy.

Alright soooo i noticed people are still having trouble adapting to this game, and because of this i'll give ya some tips i've learned. i'll try not to make this all Panda-ie for you, and keep it simple. Also sorry for the puncuation and spelling. *cough cough* helix

First off, your going to want to establish what kind of gamer you are, and what i mean is do u like to rush, slowly advance, defend (camp). So I'll break them down to their own sections later lets just explain them. Rush, to run n gun never stay still unless its for a reload then back to work. Some people don't even stay still for reloads. Now slowly advancing means your not going to run in there just blasting people, you have a stratigic movement working from one end to another. Defender... well its camping what can i say. But its not just camping its guarding a side of a map.

sooo lets break this down for you guys.



Lets start off with the Rush class this is my load out for it

• PP90, Mp5(2 attatchment, Extended mags, red dot)
• Smaw
• Frag
• Flash
• Hardline
• extreme conditioning
• steady aim/ dead silence
• Assault with UAV, Care package, Pred

Now i use SMG's for this class because they're "lighter" and you need to run fast to get to the section before the opposing team is expecting you. I use the pp90 because its the op of the smg's. The hipfire is so great that the need for Aiming Down Sight (ADS) is rare in close spaces. Also when your using a rushing class ADS isn't needed cause your trying to stay in tight spaces and running up on people. The Smaw i use for taking out UAV's or to kill a group of guys from a distance. Also i'm a fanatic of the Rocket launchers, used the law in every class in Blops for like the first 9 perstiges. Frag grenades because well to me it seems u can throw them farther without them exploding in the air and you can cook them to explode in shorter distances with less time. Now with the flash grenade i use them as a warning. i usually throw them around conners, i'm not to sure of, that anyone will be. Better to blind the enemy so they start spraying and you know exactly where they, and if they don't well they're stunned run in there fast an start unloading. The perks i use, hardline will get u the kill streaks at 2,3,4 and thats really easy to cycle through. You want it easy because you may die faster then normal. Remember your killstreaks don't stack. I like extremem conditioning because you want to be there first. Steady aim will increase your hip fire accuracy.


So this is a quick run down of how i play rusher, at spawn i run on the outside of the map. i work my way up a side i know i can just cut into the middle and flank the enemy team. I usually get First Blood or i am first blood just depends on how bad the team is camping and how many of them use stalker and just run while ADS. Its annoying but it happens, just remember flash a section if your thinking its looking semi sketchy.

Now for my Slowly Advance strat, this is the load out.

• Scar, Acr, g-36, MK14 (your choice on stuff)
• SMAW
• Frag
• flash,emp
• assassin or hard line
• scavenger
• dead silence
• Support UAV, counter UAV, SAM

So for the slowly advance strat, i think its nessecary to understand that you need to take it slow. Don't run, make a move to the side of the map that is less active. If everyone is running right go left, get to the enimes spawn and flank from behind. Most of the opposing teams go for the middle or a certain side. I've noticed this cause well i run the least active side, and come from behind. Now honestly i've been cycling through the guns to get challenges dones soo i don't have a certain gun yet. But i suggest a Assault rifle for this class, because they have distance. this class i use mostly for supporting my team explains UAV, C-UAV, and the SAM. I am a team player and use this for objective games, if you feel you want to use this type of game style make adjustments to it. i chose perks for as follows assassin u can hide from things, scavenger u will always have ammo so pickign up guns isn't an option. Dead silence i hate being heard when i'm sneaking up on someone.

So if u want more elaberation on that one let me know. But i'm thinking that one is good.

For the defending/camping part of it all. btw i don't sit and look at one hallway just read.

• Sniper Rifles, Assult Rfiles
• Your choice
• claymore/bouncing betty
• portable radar
• assassin
• scavenger
• deadsilence
• assault care package, pred, attack copter.

This is my fool around class so i don't really have a set thing for it. I have my sniper rifle with a smaw. I'll epxlain this as best as possible.

So what i have for you is more of a Free for all stratagy. i say this because more people commonly use this for FFA. You want to pick a section of the map and gaurd that entire side. i would normally pick left or right side of the whole map, and run it up and down. Never run into the middle that'll just get you killed. if your worried about your k/d then trust me on this and stay on your side. Throw the Radar some where in the middle of your section so u can see people running from the middle into your side. it also helps your team know where they are. clay more and betty are for you to have a certain area contained and so u don't always have to worry about that one spot. The key thing to know about this is don't just sit in one spot you need to run the whole side cause people will just stop going that way or just pop out and kill ya the next time.

Well hope this helped and didn't confuse you i'm going to re-read it, to make sure its not to all over the place. here are a few more tips

1. Don't ADS before firing, Start shooting and then ADS could save your life one day.
2. Hipfire has never failed me, why not try it when someone pops the conner on you

Good God that actually made since. Did someone put Panda on medication?!?

Play slow. The guns are more powerful in MW3 than they were in BLOPS. You will die faster once you start getting shot. Don't be too bold.

When starting out, stick to the perimeter of the map and work clockwise (or counterclockwise) and work in circles around the maps to learn them. Don't venture into the middle until you have the perimeters memorized.

When you see an enemy start firing from the hip and ADS while you are firing. Do not wait until you get the sites up to start shooting. This will give you the advantage in the 1v1 gunfights and you will win them. Like I said earlier the guns are stronger now. It only takes a few shots to drop someone. Hipfire is your friend.

Don't stand still and shoot at me. If you do I will kill you. Move back and forth. Jump around or dropshot. Do something that makes you a difficult target to hit. It only takes a few shots to kill someone. Don't be a bullet sponge. MOVE!

Use the "support" strike package to start. It doesn't reset when you die. You may die alot being a noob and having the assault strike package on may be a waste.

Remember that I CAN HEAR YOU WHICH MEANS I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. This is not BLOPS where the sound sucks. The sound in this game is good and a lot of us have good headphones and we can hear your footsteps. The dead silence perk isn't unlocked until a high level so the noobs are easy to hear. If you crouch you don't make as much noise.

Attitude is everything. If you play scared your score will reflect it. If you camp your score will suck and you won't enjoy the game. Be aggressive and get out there and kill the bad guys. Have a good time. You may die a lot, but so what? If so adapt and become the "support" guy. Run the support class with a SMAW, recon drone & EMP. Everyone loves to have that guy on their team. You could have a negative K/D and still be the highest scoring player running the recon drone.

It's a game and this game did a good job of creating roles for every player. Support/Assault/Specialist. Just find out which kind of player you are and own it.

Yes yes...you caught me in a misspelling. Of course we could go through your posts and do that but then we wouldn't have time to do anything else. The punctuation alone would set us back weeks.

I think the title of your thread was the problem and the original post was a little daunting. It seemed like a lot of information and some people are afraid to commit to reading that much info in one post. It was good info though.
