I've been playing video games since elementary school.....of course the basic Mario, Streetfighter, TMNT, Mortal combat and some games in between.....I've had a nintendo, playstation, and Xbox console....even a gameboy until somebody stole it *tear* BTW I hate it too when guys ask if I'm REALLY a girl....sometimes I laugh and say no I'm a 12 year old boy lol

yes when I first got my online account I played Left 4 Dead 2 then MW2....that's when I got my dishes are done title and laughed about it cause some lame guy said why am I playing aren't i suppose to be in the kitchen? About the two job thing yes I have two jobs as well and I would rather play COD then go get wasted with the girls.....now

Games should never have Gender issues. Its a game and if you enjoy it then keep on playing

Agreed, zombie. Mainly its just little kids saying that. The older people I have no problem with. Like I played with an older woman last night, who has a family, and we kicked but. & the guys on our team didn't treat us any different. Only they are older too. Haha.

At the end of the day, your online with mostly immature people... So, big surprise when they do immature things. I don't think it's so much a "gender threatening someones uniqueness..." or whatever that was about. For example, go into a lobby and say "I'm Jewish," or "I'm black," and the same people that talk crap about females will be saying slurs regarding your heritage. Only difference is this: females have a distinctive voice. Just like when a black guy who "sounds black" is in a lobby, all you'll hear is n***** this and n***** that.

I definitely don't agree with the OP psycho-babble quote. If you want psycho-babble, it's most likely a mix of immaturity, and group-think for acceptance.

Just thought i would throw my two cents in. I like to throw up all my pink fruity shit because i like being a girl. Im a girl in person, and im a girl on the game. No that doesnt mean that i want all the guys attention or im an attention whore, it means that im proud of being a girl on the game and kick some major ass while doing it. Im not one of those girls that sees you in the lobby with me and acts like a total bitch, half of my full friends list is girls. I share an account with my sister, its COD-PRINCESS18 on PS3. My sister also likes to "girl out" her name and callsigns because were girls and thats what we like to do.

I hate the stupid gender discrimination on games.
It's pointless really.
I have some good friends that I met on xbl and they are girls.
and they wreck, just sayin.....

But no I fully support girl gamers.
But I do agree that the whiny, bitchy girls give all other girl gamers bad names.
Most of the time in lobbies you see girls who's sole purpose is to be the most annoying or her boyfriends cheerleader, which is stupid.

I think anyone should be able to play if they truly want to have fun.

BTW, I will play with anyone who is fun to talk to and play with (not dirty, ya nasties)
Hell for the most part I play to hang out and talk and have fun, except for when I wanna whoop some Trash-talkers xD
