Running a tryout

Hey guys, I need some help. I'm a Founder of Clan called foREVer Gaming. And we are switching around how we run a tryout for recruits. Before we would do a free for all to see how the recruit can handle themselves and then a team tactical or tdm match to see how the recruit is as a teamplayer, ex: communication, call-outs, etc. We know it works but we want to strengthen the tryout. I'm open to all opinions. Thanks guys.

I think Free-For-All (within your clan) gives you a better understanding of how good they are as a player. Watch the kill-cam each time they kill you to get a good idea of how they move. If you are trying to see how much of a team player they are, try Domination or Headquarters though. Those 2 game types require communication and you will see how well they can work towards an objective....good luck!

My suggestion, get three recruits and 3 members (4-2 or 2-4 works ok) and go into a TDM. Members just hide in back with assassin blind eye etc. Let the recruits take on the whole other team. See what happens. It's really good because the recruits don't have the members in the way and have 2x the opportunity to kill and to die.
