Kinetic Moped project

So I bought another project, a Kinetic moped. No idea what year because all year models look the same, so im gonna estimate 1995 because its inspection expired in 1998. Heres some specs:

Indian made.
100+ MPG on 3% mix gas
2-stroke 50cc engine
1 gear
.9 gal
Speeds estimated 35 MPH

It isnt HORRIBLY bad, but for $50 its fairly decent. Needs a lot of electrical work, body work and carb work. Everything needs worked on before I start school again, as I will need to get to and from my Automotive class so that is about 6 miles a day. Parts are not made and/ or hard to find so a lot of this will be custom made.

I didnt get an odometer reading.








Now that I have this and im on a deadline it moved to the top of my list and will be getting the most attention. I will continue to work on my Agway GT 11 when possible but its no longer my top project.

are you sure this is 2000+ it looks like 80s mopeds

do you have to register it do drive it in your state

Like I said they all looked the same no matter what year.

Theres a sticker on it so it may need inspected but you dont need to register it since its not an official motorcycle.

So im changing my guess that its an 05-05 to 95 cause the inspection sticker expired 6/6/98. Im not getting it inspected anyways cause it wouldnt pass, but if im only doing 6 miles a day it doesnt matter.

When I first read this I read a "Kinect Moped" lmao... I was like Oh no... chickens gonna try wiring a Moped to his Kinect!? hahaha

I actually have to keep checking how I spell it cause I always want to spell Kinect lol.

Looks like I may be doing this as a fun project and not a serious one. I am nearing $200 in parts on the whim that it MIGHT work.
