I Play COD allows you to run your own public, moderated or private clan. As a registered member, you can create your own clan. Go to the clans page and click 'Create A New Clan'. Complete the title and description for your clan then select the type. There are three types of clans:

• Public - open to everyone. There is no restriction on who can join or who can post messages to it
• Invite Only - require an invitation to be sent to join them. Invitations can only be sent by the group creator or forum moderators and administrators. Invitations are sent by clicking 'Pending & Invited Members' at the bottom of the page for that individual group
• Moderated - open to everyone to join but messages need to be moderated before they will appear. They are moderated by the group creator and the site moderators and administrators

Moderated and Private clans you will have private forums so only your clan members see them. Moderated clans will allow members to request to join and you will have to approve them. With private clans you will have to have the user register and then you will have to invite the user to the clan. Once your clan is created and you meet the requirements for members you will be able to create a forum by going to your clan's homepage and finding the "create forum" link at the bottom. That's all there is to it! FAQ's Q. I created a clan but can't create a forum? A. There is currently a 2 member minimum to create a forum for your clan. Q. How many clans can I create? A. At this time there is a limit of 1 clan per user. Q. How many clans can I join? A. You can join as many clans as you'd like. Q. I'm leaving the clan where I'm the leader, what will happen? A. When leaving you will have to transfer the ownership to another clan member. If you are the only member you will not be able to leave as there is no new owner.
