So I have looked into this, and this is one of the most seen examples of this kind of emblem out there. The one in the video is not a work of art and was made hastily. I did not make this video, but I will share it. It would seem these emblems are being made by blowing up existing images to a large size and simply using areas that contain shading. I've heard this can also be done with "that creepy hand thing" Thanks @X-Queses

Okay...

I see how they do it...but whats the point? I don't even think it looks cool. Now you are the guy running around with the fan thing on your playercard. I guess art is subjective.
