For me personally, i bought Battlefield: Bad Company before id even played a CoD game EVER. So for me my instincts will always lie with Battlefield's way of playing, although when ive been on CoD, when i go back to my BF:BC2 (Yes i know its old but in my opinion it's one of the best games ever made) Im acheiving worse than i did before! It normally takes me about 30 minutes to get back to normal.
So in awnser to you're question, no. The reason why you play better on CoD after BF3 is because the controls are a lot more smoother and the weapons pack a lot more punch, BUT, you still manage to keep those survivalistic instincts from BF3 such as finding efficient cover etc.
